Ms. Isha Kadri completed her Graduation in History and Sociology from Sophia College, Mumbai and went on to pursue her passion for fashion and designing soon after. Working as an entrepreneur in the fashion world for more than three decade she is a well known name in the industry.
Walking on the footsteps of her mother, late Mrs. Vipula Kadri, Isha has worked tirelessly for PRIDE India since 2007. She is a visionary and her zeal to make a change in the community we serve has taken the organization to greater heights. Under her able leadership PRIDE India has won several awards from Government of Maharashtra such as Anadibai Joshi Gaurav Puraskar , Kayakalp Awards etc.

Mr. I. M. KadriChief Patron

Founder and Chairperson, IM Kadri Consultants

Mr. I.M. Kadri is a Partner and Principal Architect at I. M. Kadri Architects. Mr. I.M. Kadri holds a B.E. (Civil) degree. In 1960, he established this architecture firm and has been successfully running it ever since. His is a distinguished name in the architecture fraternity owing to his successful career spanning over 5 decades! His name features in the Guinness Book of Records for creating the world’s highest stained glass mural (135 feet) at the Ramada hotel, Dubai.

Mr. Rahul KadriVice President

Mr. Rahul Kadri is Principal Architect & Partner at I.M.Kadri Architects.

After graduating with a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, he assumed directorship of Kadri Consultants Pvt. Ltd in 1995. Since then he has designed and executed several architecture and town planning projects under his leadership. Significant works include townships for TATA’S, Jindals & Reliance and college campuses for Symbiosis and the Supreme Court Of India.

Mrs. Monisha Shetty is the creative director of R House Furnishing Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and the director of S2 Realty Developers. She is passionate about interiors and social causes such as education and women’s empowerment. She has founded Araaish, a fundraising event for Save The Children India. Her interests include fashion, fitness and traveling.

Ms. Matto is currently the Chairperson for the Center for Development of Corporate Citizenship. S. P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. The Center was established with an objective of sensitizing MBA students with the values of social responsibilities and providing management inputs to the social sector. Madhavan Menon is the Chairman & Managing Director of Thomas Cook (India) Limited, India’s leading integrated travel and travel related services company. During his tenure as the Managing Director, Thomas Cook has expanded its network to 92 cities in India and acquired six companies namely Kuoni India & Hong Kong, LuxeAsia, Quess Corp (formerly IKYA Human Capital Solutions Pvt. Ltd), Sterling Holidays, LKP Forex and Travel Corporation (India) Ltd.
His previous assignment prior to joining TCIL was as Chief Operations & Administrative Officer of Birla Sunlife Asset Management Co. (AMC) Ltd, Citi Bank and ANZ Grindlays Bank.

Madhavan completed his MBA from George Washington University, undergraduate degree from American University of Beirut and schooling at the Cathedral and John Cannon School.

Dr Gajanan D Velhal, is currently working as Professor, in the Department of  Community Medicine, at Seth G. S. Medical College & K. E. M. Hospital, Parel, Mumbai. He has more than 30 years of teaching experience in renowned
medical colleges in Mumbai and more than 25 students have completed their PG studies under his guidance so far. He has 55 publications in various medical journals to his credit. Being an academician and community health expert, he had been associated with many community based projects supported by NGOs, UNICEF and other funding agencies. His main areas of interest are Epidemiology, Communicable & Non-communicable diseases, HIV/AIDS and Tuberculosis, Nutrition and Hospital Administration. He is associated with PRIDE India since the year 1987.

Sangeeta DasmohapatraProgramme Head

Having a Masters in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Sangeeta started her career with Foundation for Ecological Security in rural interiors of Madhya Pradesh in the year 2000. Her 17 years of experience in social sector spans across various domains such as livelihood, women empowerment, early childhood care and development, natural resource management, education and public health. Sangeeta’s innate desire to bring about social change coupled with her rich grassroot experience provides excellent strategic direction to the organization. Prior to joining PRIDE she has worked with renowned organizations such as Akansha Foundation and Bhavishya Alliance.

Elsa VargheseManager – Resource Mobilisation & Communications

Ms. Elsa Varghese holds a Masters in Social Psychology from Mumbai University and an MBA in Social Entrepreneurship from NMIMS University, Mumbai. Having started a string of internships right after her schooling years, she gained experience in various fields of social work. She has published a paper with the Emerald Emerging Markets Publishing House, UK on – ‘Empowering lives through football’. Elsa’s previous work experience as a Resource Mobilisation and Communications professional in grassroots organisations like Mumbai Mobile Creches and Oscar Foundation has honed her expertise. She spearheads the fundraising and communications efforts at PRIDE India.

Umesh TandelAsst.Programme Manager

Prior to joining PRIDE Umesh was with Mukti Sadan Foundation. His 12 years of experience in the social sector and exposure in public health, livelihood and microfinance makes him the right person to overlook the programmes. Umesh is passionate about working for public health as he feels this has a larger and more sustainable impact in these communities. He was drawn to PRIDE India because of its rural focus and because he believes education and health go hand-in-hand.

Dr. V. V. KulkarniSenior Programme Manager

Dr. Virendra V. Kulkarni  completed his Doctorate in Agricultural Extension and joined PRIDE INDIA  soon after, as a Research Associate in 1991.

He worked closely with the Founder in the initial years and his strong keenness to work with community coupled with his expertise and leadership skills helped him scale upto a senior level in the organisation . Being a Senior Programme Manager at present, he is incharge of the Integrated Rural Developmental Programme at Mahad and is involved in close monitoring of the programmes and ensuring positive and impactful change in the community.

Mr. Vinayak M. TikekarProgramme Officer

Mr.Vinayak Tikekar joined The PRIDE INDIA as Community Organisor after completing his graduation in the year 1986.After serving till 1991 he left to pursue his Post Graduation in Personnel and Labour Welfare from Karve Institute of Social Sciences , Pune. Due to his attachment to the organization and the community upon successful completion he joined back as Programme Officer

His rich experience at the field level provides expert technical advice to the team.  He is extensively involved in need asssesment through community consultations and prioritizing them and plan programmes based on the findings. Vinayak also was at the forefront in implementation of the programme on Rural Water Supply and Sanitation and SHG linkage programme in the four blocks of Raigad District

Having worked with PRIDE for over 23 years, Mr. Joshi has spearheaded many projects along with our Founder Mrs. Vipula Kadri. At present he heads the Health Programmes at Sastur including the SPARSH hospital and the Outreach Programmes and has been instrumental in strengthening the programme. His passion and dedication towards the organization is undoubtedly the driving force behind the success of the one of a kind healthcare model of PRIDE India- SPARSH Rural hospital.

Achyut Adatrao

Project Officer (Outreach)

Achyut joined as a Project Officer for the Outreach Programme in 2015. Prior to joining PRIDE, Achyut worked with organizations such as PSI (Population Services International), KSWA (Kherwadi Social Welfare Association). He has 11 years of experience in the sectors of public health, social marketing, HIV/AIDS, & livelihood . His love for the work he does and the dedication is reflected through the impact the programme has created in the community.
