Voter Awareness Rally at Mahad

Being a citizen of the largest democracy where we get to choose our governement and leaders. The Right to vote is something that no one can deny to an individual. It’s even more important to vote considering you are the one that leads to change.
We participated in a 350-strong rally held on 25th Jan at Mahad as part of Matdar Jagruti Abhiyan (Voter Awareness). The event saw the Tahsildar of the area and other govt officials participate and address the gathering.

Achyut Adatrao

Achyut joined as a Project Officer for the Outreach Programme in 2015. Prior to joining PRIDE, Achyut worked with organizations such as PSI (Population Services International), KSWA (Kherwadi Social Welfare Association). He has 11 years of experience in the sectors of public health, social marketing, HIV/AIDS, & livelihood . His love for the work he does and the dedication is reflected through the impact the programme has created in the community.

Mr. Vasant More Senior Manager- Program Implementation

Vasant completed his Master of Social Work and soon after joined The PRIDE India in 1991. He holds rich experience as a Resource person and Trainer in the different areas of Early Childhood Care and Development, Child Rights, Education, Women Empowerment, Gram Panchayat and Disaster Risk Reduction in the geographical areas of Maharashtra and other states by GOs and NGOs. He had worked extensively on relief and Rehabilitation in the landslide affected areas of the Mahadev Block.

Gopal Ashok Jadhav Senior Manager- Program Development

With a Master’s degree in Social Work and over 7 years of dedicated experience in the social development sector, he has become a driving force in strategic project planning and research-driven program assessment, with a deep commitment to rural development.His journey began with a leading multinational company, where he lead CSR initiatives that transformed the lives of tribal communities in the rural areas of Nashik district. His work ignited a passion for social impact, leading him to a national-level NGO, where he took on the challenge of empowering women in Rajasthan’s aspirational districts. His efforts were instrumental in creating sustainable pathways for economic independence and social inclusion for countless women.Now, as the Senior Manager of Program Development at Pride India, he is at the forefront of creating visionary strategies that resonate with both national priorities and global developmental goals. His leadership and innovative approach are pivotal in driving Pride India’s mission to develop sustainable growth, empower communities, and create lasting, positive change.
