55 Asha workers were provided with protinex nutrition powders for their well-being as they were relentlessly dedicated to creating awareness in the interior rural villages on Covid preventions and proper hygiene practices and also ensuring healthcare & safety of the mother & children even during COVID 19. They are the true unsung heroes of India’s grassroot level front liners.

One more feather in the cap of PRIDE India

Ever since the battle against Covid 19 began in 2020, PRIDE India has been committed in its efforts, ensuring safety for vulnerable families through the distribution of food & hygiene kits, sanitary napkins for adolescent girls and women, livelihood support, awareness campaigns on Covid prevention and vaccination, support to frontline workers and the supply of oxygen concentrators in the Covid Care Centres.

On this Independence Day, we were honoured to be felicitated by the Raigad Zilla Parishad for this district award towards providing the safety nets for the poor and vulnerable families in Raigad District.

We thank the Raigad Zilla Parishad for their encouragement towards our work. We also thank all our board members, donors, well-wishers, supporters and especially all our team members who have worked tirelessly on the ground saving the affected families from the ill effects of the pandemic.

599 Raigad flood-affected families were supported with basic requirements for survival during this time of crisis

The devastating impact of the Raigad floods amid the pandemic woes has left many families stranded with misery and immense human suffering.

PRIDE India’s immediate Response for Relief to the Raigad flood victims with blankets, towels, food and hygiene items, and water purification drops provided them assistance and hope for survival saving them from hunger.

599 flood-affected families were supported through this initiative. We express our heartfelt gratitude to the Rotary Club of Queens Necklace Charitable Trust for their generous support to these families in these crucial times.

226 underprivileged children and families supported with Food packets

PRIDE India, with the support from Altry Foundation, organized a Covid relief food distribution effort in the villages of Sudhagad Pali and Mahad blocks in the Raigad district. 226 underprivileged children and families who are dependent on daily wages and those who lost livelihood due to pandemic were provided with dry ration to manage their basic needs during these challenging times. This distribution drive also focused on sensitization on covid prevention and vaccination awareness in those villages.
