Unveiling a lifesaving collaboration

We are honored to announce the inauguration of the 10 – bedded Dialysis Ward at NMMC General Hospital Vashi on 29th March. It was inaugurated By Hon. Mr. Rajesh Narvekar. Commissioner of Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, along with Chief Human Resources Officer Mr. Subhro Bhaduri of Aditya Birla Capital and Chief Functionary, President of The PRIDE India NGO Mrs. Isha Mehra.

The generous CSR support provided by Aditya Birla Capital Foundation in partnership with PRIDE India has enabled to significantly upgrade three NMMC hospitals in the community, which will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the lives of countless individuals and families in need. Two 17-bedded ICU pediatric wards in Maasaheb Meenatai Thackeray Hospital, Nerul, and Rajmata Jijau General Hospital, Airoli, has been established. These wards are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, enabling them to provide the highest quality of care to children in critical condition.

Thanks to this collaborative effort, the critically needy can now access affordable, quality treatment, reducing the financial and emotional burden on families.

PRIDE India and Mahanagar Gas Limited Expand Partnership to Launch ‘MGL Vikas’ in Shrivardhan

PRIDE India is proud to announce the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with our long-standing partner, Mahanagar Gas Limited. This renewed agreement strengthens our five-year collaboration and marks the expansion of the “MGL Vikas” initiative to Shrivardhan in Raigad district, Maharashtra.

Under the umbrella of the Shashwat Gram initiative, this expanded partnership will continue to drive holistic rural development over the next three years. The program focuses on:

  • Women Empowerment through life skills training and livelihood support tailored to local needs
  • Soil and Water Conservation to enhance agricultural sustainability
  • Improved Sanitation and hygiene practices across the community
  • Access to Clean Drinking Water for better health outcomes

Together, PRIDE India and Mahanagar Gas Limited aim to foster self-reliant and sustainable villages, empowering communities from the ground up.

Safeguarding the young!

In our efforts of achieving 100% vaccination in intervention villages so far, 2,99,119 adults have been vaccinated through our Mobile Medical Units, SPARSH Rural Hospital and direct liaising with the government in Navi Mumbai, Raigad and Osmanabad district.

Now amid the rapid rise of COVID cases, fueled by the Omicron variant of the coronavirus, our focus is to work towards the precautionary measures for safeguarding the children.

814 children from the Navi Mumbai slums and remote villages of Osmanabad have also been vaccinated.
