PRIDE India set up a 30 bedded SPARSH (Sastur Project of Action Research Services Through Hospital) Rural Hospital in the wake of 1993 earthquake that hit 83 villages taking thousands of lives in the districts of Latur and Osmanabad that continues to touch lives through an integrated approach of providing sustainable community services

Integrated Rural Development

In late 1982, PRIDE India started its functioning in the Raigad district of Maharashtra to help families affected by the Bombay mill workers strike. Realizing the fact that migration is the key problem, PRIDE India started with livelihood development programmes in Mahad block of Raigad district Maharashtra.
